Best time for camping in Bir Billing is May to June and September to October. There are also some good places for camping in the winter season but you need to take precautions for snowfall.
Important:
-If you are going for a long drive then don’t forget to charge your mobile. There are no mobile charging stations.
-If you have a big car then there will be sufficient parking space available.
-There is a separate place where you can park your bike or car. You don’t have to worry about the safety of your vehicle while you are camping.
-Make sure that you have all the necessary items with you like sleeping bag, blankets, foods etc because there is no place nearby where you can buy anything if you forget it.
-There are toilets available but they are not very clean.
-The best time to enjoy the beauty of nature is at sunrise and sunset. So wake up early and enjoy the view of Sun Rays falling on the trees and mountains around the place. You will feel like you are in Heaven.
Paragliding (Tandoor)
Paragliding is also known as Tanddoor which means “from the roof” in Himachal Pradesh. It is basically flying with parachutes, without using any engine (like a plane) or power (like a helicopter). In winters, you can enjoy skiing and snowboarding while in summers you can enjoy trekking and hiking. Trekking trail passes through pine trees, apple orchards and rhododendron forests which is absolutely stunning.
