Arrange packing supplies:

Gather all the needed kitchen packing supplies as kitchens contain a lot of easily breakable items. So, it is advisable to take good care of those kitchen breakables so that they can reach the new home’s kitchen safe and sound. For packing up your kitchen, you’ll need a number of high-quality packing supplies including packing boxes, packing paper, bubble wrap, plastic sheets, and tape.

Declutter:

Sort out your kitchen items before starting the packing process as it’ll give you the chance to select only the kitchen items that you will really need. It’s the perfect opportunity to get rid of any unwanted or worthless kitchen stuff as you already are going through each and every part of it. It will help in making kitchen tidier and more practical than the old one.

Prepare the boxes

Tape the bottom of each dish box properly. Create a protective layer inside the box with pieces of crumpled packing paper, newspapers or bubble wrap.

Cushion:

Kitchen plates should be positioned in the middle of a stack of white packing paper, then pull two sheets from each corner over the fragile flatware piece until it is covered completely. Don’t forget to add an extra layer of bubble wrap for your more expensive and valuable flatware pieces.

Take care of the china:

Wrap china plate in paper entirely and use small pieces of tape to keep the bundle from unwrapping.

Fill the void:

Fill in all the empty spaces inside the dish pack with paper or pieces of clothing to prevent the packed dishes from shifting during transport with good business blogs.

Packing the glasses:

Kitchen glasses should be packed with care. Wrap the stem of the glass with a protective sheet of bubble wrap and tape the plastic protector in place. Place a glass in the centre of a stack of white wrapping paper and properly stack others around.

Sort the items as per material:

Sort all your kitchen utensils and silverware by type and size to make your packing process easy.

You can simply place a bunch of forks or spoons of the same length on a sheet of packing paper or bubble wrap and fold with some extra layer of the protective layer and tape the bundle.

Stay alert while packing knives;

Sort knives that are similar in size and function. Position one knife near the edge of the stack of packing paper and take three pieces of paper and roll them over the knife, diagonally, and place another knife keeping its blade points in the opposite direction of the first knife and keep rolling the packing sheet until the second knife gets covered in packing paper too. You can pack knives of similar length in one bundle.

Packing the odd items:

As pots and pans are not as fragile as plates and glasses, only a few sheets of packing paper will be enough to pack them. It is recommended to use the nesting packing technique to pack pots and to do this, place paper-wrapped small ones into paper-wrapped larger ones to save space. You can always take help from local movers to pack and move your kitchen safely and efficiently.
