The second phase of the JEE examination is known as the JEE Advanced. It is conducted following the JEE Main examination. It is a crucial test for aspiring engineers, especially those seeking admission to premier engineering institutes like IITs.

JEE Advanced

JEE Advanced Examination will include two papers (Paper 1 and Paper 2). Both the papers are conducted on the same day. All students must show up for both papers to be considered for the merit list. Based on their performance in the JEE Advanced exam, candidates are admitted to various programmes by the IITs. The organising authority for the JEE Advanced will issue the application shortly after the release of the JEE Main results. After the JEE Main, the application forms for JEE Advanced 2022 will be available on the official website. Before filling out the application form, the students must register on the official website. They must submit the application form and application fees online. The top 2.50 lakh JEE Mains candidates will qualify for the IIT JEE Advanced exam.

IIT Bombay will make the JEE Advanced 2022 admit card available on the official website this year. Candidates will not be permitted to enter the JEE Advanced examination hall without a valid admit card for JEE Advanced 2022. Admit cards will be given only to the candidates who registered for the JEE Advanced exam before the deadline. By logging on to the candidate portal with their registration number, date of birth, and mobile number, candidates can get their admit cards.

JEE Advanced Registration

Candidates must register for and submit their JEE Advanced application form before taking the exam. Anyone who passes the JEE Main exam and ranks among the top 2,50,000 candidates can register and submit an application form for JEE Advanced 2022. JEE Advanced Registration and submission of the application form can be made online. The registration process primarily consists of the following three essential steps.

Candidates must enter the JEE Advanced official registration page and enter the JEE Main roll number and password. They will then need to create a new password. Once this process is complete, they can log in to the registration page, where they must fill out all the necessary information, including their name, address, phone number, level of education, etc. They must choose their preferred exam locations and the language they want to see on the question paper. Candidates must scan and upload any necessary documentation with copies of their most recent passport photo and signature. To successfully complete the registration procedure, you must pay the registration fee in this final step. The candidates must be aware that the registration fee is not refundable.

Debit cards, credit cards, Internet banking, e-challans, e-wallets, and UPI can all be used to pay the application fee. Once the registration portal is online on the website, specific instructions for paying the registration fee will be given. Additionally, candidates must save a copy of the acknowledgement slip for their records.
